All consumer groups would agree that you
should not place a contract with any company that cannot provide
you with independant insurance for you deposit and the term of your
warranty. The recommendation applies to local or national companies.
To date successive governments have failed to make it law. Provided
that you purchase from a FENSA registered company you will receive
independant insurance to cover your deposit and the term of your
warrantee. This rule applies to both local and national companies.
It is not uncommon for companies to close the company three or four
times whilst protecting the trading name. Their customer only finds
out when they ring for service work to be completed and find out
they have no guarantee.
